The Untapped Potentials of Coffee Production in Nigeria
Coffee global market is estimated at $126 billion USD in 2022. Coffee is produced or can be produced in 15 states in Nigeria, that have favorable conditions for coffee production. However, coffee production is extremely lagging behind in Nigeria compared to many other coffee-producing countries in Africa. Nigeria has a great potential to revive coffee production and claim a major share of the coffee global market. This articles reviews that state of coffee in Nigeria and suggest ways to up scale the exploitations of the coffee gold mine.
